My newest body of paintings. I'm taking a slightly different direction with this body of work. They're abstract landscapes with a focus on architecture. Some structures are solid, some are translucent, and some appear to be disappearing. There's multiple viewpoints- like the feeling of being in two places at once. Some structures are coming apart while others are coming together. Others stand solid, ever present. 

I have been having a lot of fun with colors. I was honored to win a grant earlier this year that has allowed me to buy lots of of oil paints- not just the colors I ordinarily buy but trying every color I've ever been curious about! Cobalt violet, azo red, hansa yellow, I'm loving life!
